Menswear at Iceberg Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear

If I'm being honest with you loyal readers, I'm getting a little tired of seeing the Seventies surfacing in every label under the price spectrum. I was very excited when it first happened because I the eighties look with neon shades and color block dresses was getting a little tedious.

Iceberg Women's Ready-to-Wear slightly missed the mark. Google it if you'd like, but mark my words; you may be influenced by something that is less than superb.

The Men's line on the other hand, astonished me. After getting over the initial flutter of seeing the muscle and brawn coming from the male models, I started to notice the clothes.

Gentlemen... Enjoy!

Helmut Lang: Resort 2011

Helmut Lang has always been more than a little boring, but its also been a staple for people with fabulous but simple styles. Jennifer Aniston, Giselle Bundchen and Angelina Jolie all wear the line on a weekly basis.

Their Resort 2011 line didn't surprise me, as a matter of fact I was a little underwhelmed. But for the shopper that dresses for the office or just likes to keep things neat and tidy, Helmut Lang is the way to go. You never have to worry about being in or out of style. The clothes are extremely well made, and you will never be a "Fashion Don't".

Good Blazer Though...

Chanel: Resort 2011

Just because its Chanel.

Well, also because they used Plus-Sized Icon Crystal Renn. Power to the Curvy!

That being said, I was a little "Switzerland" about this show.

And some men's wear...

Sonia Rykiel: Resort 2011

Sonia Rykiel caught my attention with their Resort 2011 Lookbook. Holy Moly. Its so Vintage. So Cool.  Its so... me!

This look is DEFINITELY my favorite.

And maybe this one...

Ugh. Okay I can't pick a favorite.

Poppy Delevigne

Anyone named Poppy is destined to be Fashion made Flesh.  I had a hard time finding some really great "Off Duty" pictures of her though, because she's such a socialite. Socialites are always on duty.

Here she is at the Burberry Prorsum SS 2011 show.

In this picture though, I think I prefer Olivia Palermo's Look.

Maria Carla Boscono: Girl of the Week

There is always one girls that is charming, cool, ethnic and interesting among a sea of blonde zero-personality drones.  I cling to these girls like a pre-teen to Justin Bieber. They give me hope that the prerequisites for models aren't: tall, thin, blonde and stupid.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Jury; may I introduce Maria Carla Boscono.  The Italian Queen of Cool. She's got a list of Blue-Chip companies up the wah-zoo, and has made a name for herself as an Icon.

Viva Italia!!

Daily Dose: Lara Stone

Yep, She's the current most booked model in the world.

Yep, she's got the side braid.

Yawn.

Daisy Lowe: Hot Mess

I would never use the term "Hot Mess", unless it really applied to somebody.

Daisy is sexy/messy/cool... and kind of a ho-bag. Love it.

"If you're not comfortable and you're aware of wearing an outfit, everyone else is going to be aware that you're wearing an 'outfit.' That's not style, that's trying to be stylish."
-Harley Viera  Newton

I mean come on.. could you wear this??

Scary...

At Paris Fashion Week..

Harley Viera Newton: We're kinda lesbi-gay for her

How totally Rad/Cool/Mello is Harley and her style?

I totally just came across her incidentally and was aghast by her rockin' personal style!! By the way... Harley isn't a model or an actress... she actually not even in the entertainment industry. She's just made some friends in high places and became an IT girl with a style like no other.

Enjoy!!

This shit is my bread & butter. Never mind that... its my steak and potatoes.

Dree Hemingway

HOT

I love leather leggings. I want to wear leather leggings for the rest of my life.. or the season. Whichever comes first.

Does anyone know where I could find some high waisted leather leggings?

Dree did this Uh-Mazing. Love the blazer.  Love the Hair.

HYONI KANG: Consignment Chic

I'm always scouring Value Village and Salvation Army for great finds, but isn't always that easy. I've taken  just recently, to looking for pieces with potential and making them amazing.

Hyoni did that quite well here.
