because i finally have something to say..

After several months of traipsing around London with my head in the clouds, ready to head back to my beloved Paris and practicing French verbs, a wrench was thrown in my plans and I was left utterly devastated and irrevocably heartbroken. Alas, I cannot return to my Paris life as I had hoped, and am left in London amongst cheerful people, umbrellas, big red buses and bad teeth. Woe is me.

Is there anything more humbling than losing everything you took for granted? I doubt it. Trust me, I've done the leg work. In fact, I can say with total confidence that it took losing my Parisian life to fully appreciate how glorious my life is in London. Albeit, the people aren't as beautiful, the food isn't as good and the street style is honestly painful at times. Even still, I've found London to be surprisingly cosmopolitain, friendly, clean and most importantly, sexy. My journey around Britain has been enriching and sometimes just as awe-inspring as the cobbled streets of Paris.

Of course, I will never let Paris go. The City of Love will always have my heart. But lets be honest, I don't think we were ever exclusive. I think that Paris and I were in an open relationship. I hope so, because I've fallen in love with London.
