Oh, that's not hot.

Paris Hilton and Terry Richardson for Vogue Turkey.

The heiress posed in Mr. Richardon's famous aviator glasses, a Balmain leather jacket and her over photographed, over lipglossed pout.

Aside from the blatantly obvious reasons (her utter uselessness), I feel as though Vogue Turkey should be hanging their head in shame for the shear lack of thought put into this Cover Girl. I concede, Tina Fey's appearance on American Vogue's March 2010 cover wasn't exactly a soaring win, but this may still be the worst we've seen yet.

Honestly, in the past I've found comfort in turning to Japanese and Turkish Vogue, because unlike our American edition, models still grace the covers occasionally.

So (and it has to be said), What the fuck were they thinking?

I admit Terry's work is breathtaking and familiar, as usual. His tongue-in-cheek, over simplified touch has always held a place in my heart. I'd even go so far as to say that this might be one of the best photographs I've seen of the spray-tanned, lazy-eyed valkyrie.

Perhaps I am biased, Yes. This move has made me squirm unhappily. In fact, I may never forgive them. But I'm finding solace in one simple notion that has brought me to a feeling of intense calm about this heresy; Unlike Rick Soloman, I'll be spending more than one night in Paris.

Until next time,

The MOD
